Morning · Plumbing · Peterborough

6:40 AM The leaks came in overnight. The day is already booked.

Three homeowners filled in the service form last night with the problem, photos of the leak and a good time to come. Each picked a slot from Dave’s calendar and got a confirmation text, and a reminder goes out an hour before the truck arrives.

Midday · Plumbing · Peterborough

12:40 PM The quote is sent before you leave the driveway.

Dave’s notes and photos from the visit become a clear, branded quote with two options side by side. If the homeowner goes quiet, a polite nudge goes out on day 1, 3 and 7.

Evening · Plumbing · Peterborough

8:20 PM Every finished job helps win the next one.

Each customer gets the same thank-you with a link to your Google page, and anyone with a problem can reply to you privately. When someone asks AI for a plumber in Peterborough, Halden is in the answer.

What gets in the way

Where the time goes, and what changes.

In a plumbing business, new work shows up when your hands are busy. A customer writes while you are under a sink. A quote goes out and nobody checks back. A good job ends with no review and no referral. We take these small jobs off your plate and do them in your own words.

A new customer writes while I am under a sink

Someone has water on the kitchen floor. They text you and two other plumbers. You see the message an hour later, and they have already booked someone. An auto-reply that says "we will call you within one business day" does nothing for a person watching a leak.

Chip drafts a reply in minutes, in your words. He asks what is leaking, whether they found the shut-off valve, and for a photo. Urgent messages ping you right away. Answer every lead in minutes does this.

The water heater quote goes quiet

You give a price for a new water heater. The customer says they want to think about it. They get two more prices, and then the week gets busy. You mean to check in, but you are already on the next job.

A few days later, Chip sends a short, friendly check-in about their heater and your price. If they have a question, it comes to you. He stops as soon as they answer or say no thanks. Follow-ups that never stop does this.

Happy customers forget to leave a review

The job went well and the customer thanked you at the door. They meant to post a review. By dinner, they forgot. Someone looking for an emergency plumber at 11 PM has only your Google page to go on, and a few old reviews say little.

A few hours after each job, every customer gets a short thank-you text with a one-tap link to your Google page. If something went wrong, they can reply to you directly. Get more 5-star reviews does this.

Neighbours ask who my customer used

When a pipe bursts down the street, the neighbour asks your customer for a name. If your customer cannot find your number, that job goes to someone else. Asking every customer for referrals takes time you do not have.

A few weeks after the job, every customer gets a separate short note from your number. It thanks them again and asks them to save your number for the next leak, or for a friend who needs a plumber. We set this up with Get more 5-star reviews.

How it works

Three steps. No software to learn.

You don't log in to a new system or train your staff. Chip runs everything on our side. You approve from your phone, or let him run.

  1. Pick your Simplets

Choose one Simplet or several. Each has its own price, and there are no bundles to decode.

  2. We set it up

A short setup form, about 20 minutes, connects your calendar, forms and phone number and learns how you write. We test it on your own enquiries before it goes live.

  3. You approve, or it just runs

Anything written in your name waits for your OK in one simple list, unless you have told Chip to send it on his own. Urgent things reach your phone right away.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is this a plumbing answering service?

It works by text and email. When a new customer writes or fills in your web form, Chip drafts a reply in your words within minutes. If you miss a call, the caller can get a text back in minutes, if you want that. Replies go out from your business. Calls you pick up stay with you.

Can I start with one job?

Yes. Each Simplet does one job and has its own price. You might start with review requests or fast replies, then add more when you see it working. We need access to your email, calendar, website forms and phone number, and a short talk about how you speak to customers.

What if I cannot take the job?

The customer still gets a kind, honest reply, with the name of another plumber if you have one you trust. In a small town, that kind of answer is remembered.

Will the messages sound like me?

Yes. We set Chip up from how you already write to customers: first names or not, short or chatty, how you end a text. Let routine replies go straight out, or check them on your phone first. Your call. Promotional messages follow Canada's anti-spam law (CASL), and your licence number goes where your province asks for it.

Who is Chip?

Chip is the SimpleUP robot. He stands for the AI tools that do the routine work in your Simplets, like replying to new enquiries and sending reminders. Behind him is our Canadian team, who set everything up and look after it.
